Today, Ann Witzig and some of the junior class from Essex Aggie stopped by our lab to learn about what we do and how to make vehicles of their own. Currently, they have built 2 of our sea perch ROVs, and were interested in ways to take it even further -- building their own AUVs/ROVs, and adding new components to the sea perch. Great ideas!
We were excited to show these kids all the cool stuff that our vehicle does... maybe a little too excited, since it's rare that people come in to check it out all the hard work that we do.
Hopefully they'll stay in touch! We'll need a new crop of vehicle engineers in a few years.
